Care Ministries

The care ministries of APC provide compassionate, caring concern for our members, neighbors, and friends. These ministries are vital to the Christian health and growth of the Ashburn Presbyterian Church congregation. Through the Stephen Ministry, the Cancer Support Group, the Prayer Shawl Ministry, the Prayer Team, and the various ministries under the umbrella of the Board of Deacons, we seek to come alongside those who are experiencing challenging circumstances in an effort to help make God’s love and care evident in the midst of even the toughest situations.  Additionally, through these ministries there are many ways for members of the congregation to participate in the care of our fellow members.  If you are in need of prayer or if there is any way we can help you during a difficult life situation please contact the church office at This email address is being protected from spambots. Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a separate care ministry grounded in Jesus' command to love one another. Through one-to-one caring relationships between a Stephen Minister and a care receiver, those who are hurting receive the love and care they need to support them. If you would like to know more about becoming a Stephen Minister, or have a need that may benefit from a relationship with a Stephen Minister, please contact the church office at This email address is being protected from spambots. Cancer Support Group

The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the APC Library.
