On The Edge, Camp Ligonier, Ligonier, PA (July 7th-11th, Cost: $375, Leaders Needed)

Summer trips can be one of the most powerful and influential experiences in the life of a student. From the relationships that are built and the memories that are made to the experience of discovering Christ in ways they may never have expected. A summer trip will expose a student to their youth leaders, their peers in youth group and the message of the gospel in a way you simply can’t here at home!

On The Edge is an outdoor adventure camp that is designed for youth groups.  Camp Ligonier has one of the most extensive adventure education programs in the eastern US and they love to use it in a way that allows youth to draw closer to God. Some of the awesome things they have include: high and low ropes courses, pamper jump and flying squirrel, 1,000 ft. zip line, the vomit comet, mountain biking, mountain boarding, caving, and the luge (a monstrous slip & slide). We will also be going offsite to a nearby lake for swimming with swimming and a bunch of other fun activities. In addition to all the adventure activities there will be all the camp favorites, campfires, large group games, swimming, dodge ball and much, more!
While we are at Camp Ligonier, we will be staying in Lamont Lodge with dormitory style housing and private bathrooms. We will get to hear great speakers, study God’s word, worship to awesome music and play in God’s creation while being challenged and encouraged to stretch out of our comfort zones in unique ways. 

$100 deposit due by March 3rd. ($20 Late fee to sign up afterwards)

As with all the activities we do here at APC we never want money to be the reason students don’t participate in an activity. If cost is an issue please talk to Scott so we can work out a solution that works for you!
